Neely identifies herself as a "pro-life conservative." But Nevada voters protected abortion rights by referendum back in 1990, and in 2026 they're being asked to write that protection permanently into the state constitution. On one of the most personal decisions a family can face, Neely has placed herself on the opposite side of where Nevadans have stood for over thirty years.1
She Works For The Greedy Corporate Landlords Pricing Nevadans Out Of Their Homes
Erica Neely reports directly to a venture capital firm as a property manager, actively working for the same out-of-state corporate landlords that are buying up our neighborhoods and jacking up rent. While hardworking families across District 9 are struggling with the everyday cost of living just to keep a roof over their heads, Neely is collecting a paycheck from the exact investors responsible for the housing crisis. If she's sent to Carson City, she won't fight for affordable housing or protect consumer rights, she'll be a reliable vote to protect the bottom line of the greedy corporations that are pricing us out of our own communities.2
She Told Independent Voters They Don't Belong
Nearly 40% of District 9 voters are independent — and Neely went on the record about exactly what she thinks of them. In written testimony to the Legislature, she opposed letting nonpartisan voters take part in primaries, arguing that if independents want a say in our electoral process, they should just go register with a party. That's not an offhand remark; it's her documented position about the very voters who decide Nevada's elections.3
She SUPPORTS ICE Raids In Our Community
When aggressive ICE enforcement frightened families across Nevada, Neely didn't push back — she defended and supported it. In a January 2026 column, she dismissed residents' alarm as "almost entirely false," insisted the agents were simply doing their job, and attacked opponents of the raids for speaking up. Instead of protecting her neighbors, she championed the unchecked, paramilitary sweeps targeting her own community.4
She SUPPORTS Book-Banning
Erica Neely runs in the orbit of Moms for Liberty — the extremist MAGA group behind sweeping book-banning campaigns — and amplified it on her own Facebook page. In her own writing, she sided with extremists pushing to pull titles off Clark County library shelves, casting content removal as "protection."5
